Abigail Stokell-Beckett lives in Norton. She has been married to Michael for seven years.

She studied archaeology at degree level at University College London, and is currently attending a Higher Education NVQ in accountancy at the Scarborough Business School.

After completing her formal, full-time studies, Abigail worked as a bus driver in London and North Yorkshire, and as a result has an intimate understanding of the issues involved with rural transport.

She currently works as a customer service assistant in the butchery department of Morrisons.

As a primary school governor, she has shown her commitment to supporting both staff and parents in enhancing children's education. She has served as a Norton Town Councillor, where she has gained experience to undertake the role of a District Councillor.

Abigail loves dogs, and hopes to show Tibetan Mastiffs at Crufts some day. She practices at local shows whenever possible!
