Jane de Wend Fenton has lived in the village of Ebberston for more than twenty years. She is married with three children who have all attended local schools; Jane's eldest son is severely disabled and attends a special school in Scarborough where she serves as a governor. Jane's involvement with Special Needs Children has made her mindful of the problems, practical and otherwise, experienced by the disabled and their carers. Jane enjoys living in a rural area and is committed to ensure that village life and it's strong sense of community continues to thrive.

Living in such a rural area she is very supportive of the three Rs:

Recycling... it is still not easy to recycle plastics and cardboard in this area.

Rubbish... litter on roadsides... bins at bus stops on the main road through to Scarborough.

Ragwort... a menace to haymakers and horse owners and it gets worse every year.

If you would like to help deliver leaflets or any other way please  contact  Jane on 01723 859057
